Sip & Savor: Wines for a Summer Evening

  • Cafe Nordo 109 South Main Street Seattle, WA, 98104 United States (map)

Tom Hadjuk’s Wines for a Summer Evening (The Uncommon Taste, Part Two)

Building on the positive reactions and success of our July Uncommon Tasting event, Curator Tom Hajduk will bring in a second set of rare, delectable wines for the August Sip and Savor event. These wines are strikingly engaging and performative, and all from small producers. Among the bottles will be an outstanding rosé from the shores of Corsica, as well as an extended skin-contact wine with a deep, golden-orange hue and enticing aromas and flavors. We will also try a gorgeous Muscadet that calls for seafood or summer salads. And how about a red to pair with the August full moon and the peak of the Perseids meteor shower?

Each of these wines will go beautifully with our Pacific Northwest late evenings and twilight. This is yet another tasting experience for which we will probably be the only people trying these wines before they disappear.

Tom Hajduk's unique blend of storytelling, history, facts, and humor takes the conventional idea of wine tasting to a completely different level at Nordo for Sip & Savor wine tastings.

Your ticket includes a taste of 4-5 unique wines, with the opportunity to purchase bottles at the conclusion of the evening. This is a very special lineup you will not want to miss!
