Pies, pasties, quiches, empanadas, so many things to put in a crust. In this interactive cooking class with Nordo’s Executive Chef Erin Brindley, we’ll get down to the basic pie dough that you’ll have in your back pocket forever, and play with all the things you can do with that pie dough. From the perfect holiday fruit pie, to chicken pot pie, to hand pies perfect to take to lunch with you, to breakfast cups, we’re going to take all the fuss and intimidation out of pies.
Along the way, Nordo’s Wine Steward Tom Hajduk will provide lovely wine pairings and the wonderful stories and descriptions of the wines that are his signature. Participants will take home some of the fruits of their labor, as well as enjoy a decadent meal of pies. Please let us know if you are gluten free and we’ll play with that dough too.
